After defeating UCF to secure a spot in the regional final, Florida State softball was the designated visiting team against Auburn, and their pitcher, Shelby Lowe.
Lowe only gave up a walk to Jaysoni Beachum, but got out of the inning without a run. On the opposite side, Ashtyn Danley shut down the Tigers in just six pitches.
In the 2nd, Michaela Edenfield and Devyn Flaherty reached on soft singles. Despite runners on early, Lowe got herself two strikeouts and fly out to keep it scoreless.
Moving into the bottom of the 2nd inning, Danley gave up a lead off double.
