ATLANTA — For the second time in the past three years, the Kent State women's basketball program has been earned a spot on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 Honor Roll, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The Golden Flashes posted an impressive 3.575 team grade point average for the 2022-23 academic year, which ranked 22nd among NCAA Division I programs. The team finished the year with a spring term record 3.499 mark.
Eight student-athletes were named to the Academic All-MAC list and four student-athletes were recognized as Academic All-District® honorees by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
