Is UNC starting to build its own case to leave the ACC?
With the regular academic year over, the UNC Board of Trustees has been meeting to go over various budget items to submit to the Board of Governors. A few stories have emerged out of these meetings, but one related to the athletic department brought out some interesting comments that sheds another light on how happy some at UNC are with the ACC.
As a public university, even though the budget is mostly privately funded, the athletic department still has to have their budget approved by the state.
